Services

Many IT products and service available today are new and untried. However the process for implementing them and managing need not be.

RTG's approach takes the guesswork out of new projects and manages the risk and variables common in IT projects.

RTG's work with clients and projects encompasses the following:

Personal consultation:

All clients have the services of an account manager; a single point of contact for any IT related issues. Once a project has been identified by the client the RTG account manager will assess the complexity in order to ensure that sufficient resources are allocated.

This will then pass onto an engagement process whereby the client will receive the necessary quotation relevant to the proposal which will form the basis of a signed agreement to proceed.

Plan:

The plan phase initiates the project and has the goal of maximising the success of the project from the outset.

The plan will consist of: The Project Management Plan (where applicable)

  • The Statement of Work
  • The Risk Management Plan (where applicable)
  • The Quality Management Plan
  • The Project Schedule

  • Build:

    The build phase covers all aspects of procurement, configuration and testing of the designed system/project. The RTG Technical Consultant has the responsibility to ensure that the build has been completed and accepted by the client.

    The build phase can include:

  • Hardware configurations
  • Software build and configurations
  • Site preparations
  • Integration services
  • Migration services
  • Conversion services

  • Implementation:

    The implementation phase is the physical installation at the client's location. The RTG Technical Consultant has the responsibility to ensure that the build has been completed and accepted by the client.

    The implementation plan can involve:

  • Roll outs
  • Training
  • Documentation
  • Support plans
  • Acceptance test

  • Review:

    The review phase of a project is where:

  • RTG analyse how the project turned out and identifies and communicates improvements for future projects.
  • Performs and documents a customer project review
  • Performs and documents an internal project review
  • A site management guide is generated for both the client. Details of any technical information for on-going support purposes arte logged with the RTG technical response team.
