IT Manager - Expression of Interest

Australia, Victoria.


About this Role

Express your interest in an IT Manager role at RTG. In the role, you will be the face of the business at client sites while implementing strategies and processes to help our clients succeed at what they do. You will champion client excellence by delivering high quality IT managed services by utilising your team leadership and stakeholder management skills. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, own and drive the execution of the ICT strategy and roadmap  
  • Establish and continuously develop ongoing effective relationships with the client, your team and the wider RTG community  
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and perceptions and ensure communication is proactive and effective  
  • Mentor and provide leadership to your team  
  • Refine process and policy with regards to enhancing the customer experience  
  • Develop and review XLAs and examine the data to provide valuable insights and improvements to the client  
  • Manage the budget including the determination and proposal of annual budgets and reporting  
  • Be involved in project management ensuring all projects are on time, on budget, well communicated and that there is documentation and proper client handover.  

About You

We would like to hear from high performers with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills and the desire to exceed client expectations. You will bring with you:  
  • Leadership experience managing the provision of ICT support services for clients  
  • Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and stakeholder management  
  • Experience and knowledge of end-to-end ICT support functions including service desk ticketing and escalations, systems administration, enterprise security, and LAN/WAN technologies  
  • Strategic planning ability  
  • Understanding of cloud-based delivery platforms and services such as Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite  
  • Experience with Apple products, MAC OS, iOS and MAC related technology  
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to ensure technical problems are managed efficiently and effectively  
  • Experience with project and change management processes

  • Successful candidates will need to undergo National Criminal and Working with Children Checks.
