Solutions Architect

What you’ll do

  • Taking ownership of ensuring that the customer and relevant RTG stakeholders are well-informed through the presales process, and responding in a timely manner to changing needs to maximise the chance of swift customer acceptance
  • Leading meetings and workshops with customers to gather technical requirements needed to produce blueprints and designs that capture the desired future state
  • Making or eliciting sound technical architectural and design decisions by educating and ‘taking stakeholders on the journey,’ clearly articulating the rationale and benefits
  • Leading the technical implementation of your solutions by ensuring the delivery team clearly understand the scope and parameters
  • Coordinating activities and translate the design concept to IT operations. Ensure that everyone involved, including the stakeholders, are on the same page and the right direction throughout all phases.
  • Contributing heavily towards upskilling the technical team to ensure RTG has the capability deliver to a level above our competition.
 What you'll bring
  • Customer-facing presales, sales engineering or solution architecture experience with a sales component
  • Experience working for a systems integrator or consulting firm specialising in technology and working with SME and mid-market customers
  • Broad technical expertise across multiple domains, including infrastructure, Cloud, end user computing, security, networking, data and software development, sufficient to extract requirements and work with subject matter experts to produce required outcomes.
  • Deep technical expertise in at least one domain, such as Azure or O365, sufficient to implement a solution end-to-end.
  • Ideally hold current certifications with relevant technology vendors, such as Microsoft, AWS, VMware, etc.
