Maranatha’s leadership team wanted to understand what AI could mean for teaching, learning, and operations, and how to approach it in a way that aligns with their vision. RTG partnered with Maranatha’s leadership team to design and deliver a tailored AI workshop. Led by RTG CEO Dean McDonald, the session benchmarked participants’ understanding, provided insights from staff surveys, and facilitated open discussion about AI’s role in schools. The workshop covered practical applications, security and privacy, prompt engineering, and personalisation. Leaders explored real-world examples and co-created actionable plans for integrating AI into their context. The facilitation style ensured all voices were heard, and the team left aligned, inspired, and ready to take action.

The workshop sparked energised and reflective discussion, moving the team from uncertainty to a shared vision for AI. Leaders explored how tools like Microsoft Copilot could streamline lesson planning and automate reporting, and developed a four-week unit plan tailored to diverse student needs. Rather than producing a static report, RTG delivered a strategic foundation for action.

RTG’s engagement with Maranatha is not a one-off event. RTG’s CEO will continue to provide strategic advice, facilitate future directions forums, and support the school in navigating AI adoption, governance, policy development and training.
